The City of Derry Apartments are three self-catering apartments at 11 Westland Street, a short walk from Derry city centre, where the Halloween parade and fireworks take place. If you want to stay for Derry Halloween 2027, book early: Halloween is the busiest week of the year in Derry.
When is Derry Halloween 2027?
The 2027 dates haven’t been announced yet. The festival usually runs over the last days of October. In 2026 it ran from 28 October to 1 November, with the Halloween trail from 28 to 30 October, and the parade at 7pm and fireworks at about 8.15pm on 31 October (derryhalloween.com). In 2027, 31 October falls on a Sunday. We’ll update this page as soon as the programme is out.
Why stay on Westland Street for Halloween?
- Walk to everything. The city walls are less than 1 km away and the Guildhall is about a 12-minute walk, so there’s no driving or parking on parade night.
- Your own front door. Each apartment has its own kitchen, shower room, Wi-Fi and TV, so you can get ready for the parade, eat in and head out when you like.
- Self check-in. Arrive any time from 3pm to 11pm.
